BIG TOP ARTS FESTIVAL
Big Top Arts Festival is a new arts and culture festival based in downtown Portland, OR similar to the Treefort festival in Boise, ID. The festival branding uses an illustrative approach to convey the chaotic, exuberant, and energetic environment of an arts festival.
The festival logo pays homage to the ornate detailing in vintage Pullman train cars, such as John Ringling’s private rail car, The Wisconsin, from which Ringling conducted circus business from 1905-1916.
